CNN TV --had it about 2 hours before it was 'official' by obama on TV ...
then - i took out a boomer to listen to it outside - ( nice warm nite )
but ...........thru all those 2 hours ---
WTF WTF !!!!!!
neither AM or FM had anything -- not even one mention on any station

then --CNN TV --showed the 'official' story

so ------------ is radio news DEAD ????
like not important anymore ????

Well..it hasn't been the prime news source for years Ira. Have you forgot that Al Gore invented the internet during the Clinton Administration? Or that Ted Turner had CNN up and running by '79 while Rupert Murdoch was doing the same with the Sky networks in Europe and Asia?

As glad as I am about the news (and boy do wee need it in the deep south) you are onto it. We will probably be looking at a hit in the near future. Heightened state of awareness and readiness for sure.
