all is cool ... though I was hardly holding you hostage. You were the one who offered it to me for $50 (with knowledge that it had to be fixed) .. When I accepted you then told me $100 because you had opened it up and fixed a few things. I offered $90 because of the original $50 deal and because you had hot glued :-O the handle together on the inside and I am not quite sure of your skills. I would hate to open it up and your fix be real ugly like.

Anyway .. hope you get what you want for it :-) No hard feelings

True true. Well of course you weren't holding me hostage (more of a sales hyperbole) I just have a state of mind when I sell my boxes and become set on a price if I must part with it, like most collectors of anything. Most boxes will have been opened up at some point, whether to replace the belt in the tape deck or what have you, I'll admit my skills aren't that of someone qualified but the box has gone from needing touching up to fully functional. I've been sold lemons in the past, I just wish I had the courage to have opened up previous boxes and had a go, otherwise I may still have quite a large collection and not sold them off on the cheap for parts.

Simply put, buyers have a price as do sellers and all parties have to be happy, gotta do your research though, which is merely all I was doing. In layman's terms, boomboxes are serious business :breakdance: Since fixing it, it isn't a matter of getting a price that I may want but more selling and regretting. Hope you find a good boombox in the end with no dramas, good luck :)
