Okay, getting 6 large sliders from Bredgeo.
I can't wait to put this boomer back together and start blasting some tunes. It's going to be cool at my next "Margerita Party"! :dj-party:

Has anyone ever order a stylus/ needle for these units? :hmmm:

Well I just worked on the record player cover. I just want to say that Chris's ( LASONIC TRC- 920 ) :chris920: post on the 3m headlight restoration system for restoring the record player cover/lens is one of the best things that has happened to boombox restoration. I just finished using it, and it worked fantastically. Now I'm off to use it on some tuner glasses that have a few light scratches. Chris :chris920: , great discovery, thank you Bro!!!!

I will post pics soon of my Sharp VZ 2000. There are many out there like it ,but this one is MINE!!

Thanks Bro! Yes the record player is the ****!! I enjoy analog sound much more than MP3 compressed Files. For me being an old school Audiophile from way back in the day, I just can't enjoy Mp3s because it is compressed so much and everything is the same level in sound. I am also a drummer and have been playing since I was three years old ( maybe I'll post a video of me rocking Tom Sawyer by Rush) and have played live music all my life, music has different dynamics. Well it's just my opinion.

Wow, it looked like crap before, now it looks fantastic, an awesome transformation! It's well worth the hours that goes into restoring one of these beasts. I listen to mine loads as I'm loving getting to use vinyl all over again :)

Congrats on a fab resto job :)

Thanks Simon, It took me one whole month working on it everyday. It was well worth it and I'm very happy. Everything works flawlessly and it sounds great.

Wow! Welcome to the club of VZ lovers!

The box looks great! Lucky guy! It is such a good feeling to see LPs playing on a boombox. The day I fixed my VZ I had a hard time going to bed. I wanted to see it playing LP with my Sharp Demo LP over and over which I got long time ago.

VZ is a Big Monster Boombox! Please watch your back when you move it around. Sharp forgot to add stickers on safety
"watch your back" hahaha!
