SOMETHING ABOUT THESE 2 MODELS ALWAYS TAKE MY BREATH AWAY WHEN LOOKING AT THEM... JUST A THING OF BEAUTY THEY ARE.. VINTAGE MAN IS VERY HAPPY TODAY!!! TIME FOR A BEER!!

This box is what you call a gentlemens box.

There are others that fall in the same category such as the Telefunken 1M.

RX-7000 - It is a simple flat design, if you look at it.
Still it is the most loved and admired box for me.

And has real quality sound to match the majestic looks.

I Agree. This National is half home HI-FI, half Boombox. One of the best looking boxes ever made IMHO. Congrats Vintage Man! (How about truckin's that beauty down the 401 to me )
