Wow, you guys didnt slouch either, those are all the big guns! Looks like a great time. I love the pile of them around the stairs or whatever that is.

I had a freaking blast yesterday! Besides the sun burn we were carrying heat! And i finally met some more members who were cool ass hell! So what do you guys say Round 2 today? LOL

Yeah it was great meeting you and the rest of the crew. You a Peter are the young guns of the squad. Hope to kick it with you guys for years to come.

Dude!!! You just made me realize that im the baby of the west coast crew! LOL
But i had a blast hanging out with you guys i love doing stuff like this and we most definately have to do this again!

Oldie but goodie, just like the boxes we collect.😃 It was awesome that you drove all the way from the Bay Area. Your FM transmitter came in really handy. It was great meeting you and now you but a lot of pressure on us SoCal guys to make a trip up North when you guys have a meet.

We feel the same way Gordie. People showered us with boombox love and respect all day long. We ran into these guys visiting from Queens NY and they said we were the coolest thing they saw at Venice! I take that as a big compliment because Venice is littered with cool stuff and people. We were rollin deep but you Gordie would have taken us to another level.

I want to thank everybody for such a great time yesterday and for soldiering up while Nannette shot the photos, it was definitely warm out there. I got to meet a few members I've never met before including mancardo, milosancho, and rokbox2112 and they were all GREAT guys to hang with! I Hope to see you guys again at future meets! I want to thank Milosancho for bringing the FM transmitter that had us all blasting the same songs in unison like one big thundering Bass drum! Sounded badass! He also drove a great distance to meet up with us. Thanks Mario!

The longest commute award goes to mancardo, coming in all the way from Arizona! Thanks for bringing the family out to Venice! You have a great family.

Of course its always great seeing Lastman, fresh produce and Mac daddy representing with the fresh shirts. It was so cool to see the other members enjoy their 1st meet, like Howie, Dave, and ELDIRTYDINO. We were all like kids again! The only pictures as of now are the cell phone pics some of us took, and a few from social media that people have posted. Cell phone cameras were EVERYWHERE. I had an absolute great time, and Nannette Ricaforte was just a sweetheart and a pleasure to work with. Thanks to Nannette and DJ Curse! We will have to start up a new thread once we get the photos. Hopefully within a week we'll have them. Until then heres some of what I captured, If this link doesnt work, ill post the pictures individually. Thanks again to everyone for such a great day of disturbing the peace!

Well...you west coast members are really lucky to have each other...it's actually priceless :thumbsup: . I have one good friend that i go boomboxing with in my city...i love walking downtown in the city with a huge box blasting oldskool hiphop...with the Cazal's, rope chain, Adidas shoes and jacket...it's such a great feeling!

Venice beach is amazing...i can't wait to go back this year, and hopefully i can meet all you Boombox junkies while i'm there ! :thumbsup:
