Sounds good Howie, hopefully most of the crew can be there by at least 12 noon. I'll let photographer Nannette know about the planned time and place ;-)

Anyone in the area know of a parking lot or garage close to said basketball court? Address would be ideal, so as not to be walking around for a mile (before the meet) with a 50 pound boombox.

I have an FM transmitter that I'll bring. Not sure how effective it will be but we can give it a go.

Hard part is deciding which box to bring?

The parking lot that is close by is the one that I mentioned which is at the end of North Venice Blvd. that street dead ends into the parking lot. The purple pin on the map below shows approximately where the parking lot is located.

Theres no rules or agenda, just enjoy eachothers boomboxes and music :dj-party: meet the other members, shoot the breeze about any and everything. Im sure we'll walk around a bit, and Nannette will be taking pics of us all in action, be ready for random people taking pictures too, these classics usually draw people to em. Just have fun with it out in the wild, and take in all that Venice has to offer, so much to see out there bro, and most importantly, enjoy these Badass Boomboxes the way they were meant to be enjoyed, LOUD AND IN YO FACE! :rock:

did I mention I have two other guys coming they are non members of Boomboxery.com .. but they are collectors.. Still trying for CHALI 2NA ... he's a pretty busy guy .

Ok everyone, I spoke to Nannette the photographer yesterday about the designated meeting place near the basketball courts. I told her the time we are planning to meet up was at 11:00AM, and if she can be there around 12 noon. That will give us an hour window to hopefully round up most of the posse so that she can take some shots of us doin our thing out there :-D She's pumped up about it, so am I :thumbsup: I was thinking of just taking a collections jar for Nannette, for those of you that would like to chip in for the photos. If we happen to collect more than the $125, Im sure she would be more than happy to shoot us longer if we want. Or we can just do the flat $125 for the hour and a half, Im fine with either scenario :yes: Its up to you guys. Im down for whatever. So far we have 7 people (including myself) who are ok with splitting the cost so we're looking good fellas! And Thanks!

Whats up Slo so the meeting time is at 11 then for sure right? That way i can calculate at what time i should leave since im about 2 hours away. Member Fresh Produce is also joining us.
And as for my blaster of choice im taking my Helix HX-4700 so i can really pound! Lol

Wut up Adrian! Yea we figure if everyone can hopefully be there at 11AM that it will be easier to find parking (I HOPE) It gets pretty packed on the weekends so the earlier the better man. Im glad Fresh P will be making it too! :thumbsup: Its gonna be DOPE. By the way, Nannette e-mailed Lastman and invited him to come out, Im not sure if you have his contact info or not, but if you do hit him up and see if he'd like to join the madness!

The Helix Is a wise choice! Its gonna be a head turner no doubt! :clap:
