Update on 2011 Sunshine Mix

Well, guys and gals, it appears that this year's Sunshine Mix is pretty much canceled. Six members who attended the 2010 meet wouldn't be at the 2011 meet, now including myself unfortunately.

Others would never give a definite "yes" or "no". That would leave only three definite "yes" members with one facing a 9-hour (one way) drive. If those guys still want to get together, more power to 'em.

They would become legends in the lore of Boomboxery.

Sadly, it is true. My daughter's Summer camp program is that week, which prevents the whole family from leaving together.

I have a very simple solution to all of this-Re-Schedule!!!!!!
How about fall or early winter??
Like Lumpy Rutherford said "See how simple it is"??

We all live where it's warm so I think this could still happen,just an idea.
I might even be able to make it to.

well we have had some small meet ups at iras frank and me ,,but this year was hard for me the date picked someone already had there vacation locked on those dates :'-( not too much we can do.....

Now looky here! I have to have something solid to plan around. We still have enough time to make adjustments if neccesary, but we need to do it now. I am trying to plan my vacation time accoridingly but it's hard without having solid commitments. If we can't get anyone fom Florida...

I just need to know ultimately what will happen. If it mean I head north, then north it is. If it's south, then south it is. But I need to know something solid. I know gas prices are a beyotch and everything is going sky high. This makes it even more critical for my planning.
