way back in the day --over at s2g --our ed was well into the top 20%
of their membership intelligencia
(over here -he is in the top 1%)
anyway --the story is.......
that he started a brand new forum --entitled
"uncle eds wisdom of the week"
the word got out --all around the world -
there was an exciting promotional launch--
the anticipation was enormous
and the s2g membership DOUBLED overnite !!
the first weeks wisdom was a classic untouchable..
thousands awaited... 'the word from ed' .. each and every week-
i remember --saturday mornings --setting my alarm -
to be among the very first to read it

well --
its been said that " all good things must come to an end "
( btw..ed , a very positive upbeat kinda guy ... never said that)
sure enough --and faster than you can say jackie robinson....
the forum was abolished :'-(
because after that first glorious week -
ed ran totally out of wisdom -
and never posted any more--
even the entire forum was deleted in shame

at this later date --we have been advised by family and friends-
that ed is anxious to get back on it---
so any spirit and encouragement you fellas can provide should serve
to jump-start ed .
or -for that matter -
its a remote possibililty --that many of our members have some small wisdom to share-
and - no better time or place --than here and now -
