Got my Notion Ink adam about 2 weeks ago and loving it.

Thats why I have been so MIA, been on various Notion Ink forums and hack sites.

If anybody is in the market for a kickass Tegra 2 android tablet for under $400 they are almost ready to open for
full ordering.

Blue lines are from the camera shooting the screen I guess.....

Whats neat about this especially, is that this has the new Pixel Qi LCD screen, and functions as a standard e-Reader with the backlight off and is
100% viewable in direct sunlight. Mine is a wi-fi only version but I have it set up to Tether to my 3G phone (rooted).....Sweet

Hav'nt yet found a Boombox MP3 android app though.....

i have the htc evo ever since it came out which is the android phone ,,i was one of the lucky ones that got from the first batch ,,cant complain with it actully i stopped using my ipod touch once i got it so i will be looking into it more,, but i have been checking into some of the tablets also ...enjoy it ue

We were going to trade in our Blackberry's for Verizon IPhones but went with Droid X's instead. I am very happy..
Other than say a Macbook or my apple II+

apple has great stuff yes and have been out for a long time ,,but gets very expensive pretty fast ,, i belive it was time for a change and the good part even the ones that cant afford now can enjoy something simular without breaking the bank and as time passes by it will get even better

What is the major difference between a tablet and a laptop - other than the obvious form factor?
I just got me a new laptop recently - I was looking at some tablets, but didn't feel they were good enough. But maybe I'm missing something?
Mine is Toshiba with i5 processor and 4 gig of RAM. 16 inch screen. Cost me almost $800 - twice the price, but I can do some work on it - which was the main reason I chose it over a tablet in the end....

Laptops usually have more processing power & speed.........And they also normally have a CD drive

if you do a lot of work especially office and maybe fotoshop its better to thave the laptop really ,, tablets are great for on the net on the go watch a movie read ebooks things like that....

Word is tablets will outsell laptops in the next few years... think desktops/ laptops and how the momentum of sales changed over the years. That is laptop/tablets future but vastly accelerated.

After doing a little research, I think those are super cool. But for work - I still prefer my desktop over my laptop - I hope they aren't going to stop making those any time soon
