I call in to pretty much every charity shop I pass and very rarely find anything, though I've had a mint in box Hitachi TRK7620 and a nice Sanyo C7 before now.

Well I called in to a small town charity shop on my way back from somewhere and imagine my surprise when there were about 20 radios in this little shop! There were lots of 90's ones and a few small radios, nothing mind blowing but they were all in minty condition. I asked the manager and she said some fella had died and his family had left the house contents to them...apparently it was piled high with new unused stuff including these, and many more, radios.

I picked my favourite two Sanyos...both are clearly completely unused, mint, and fully working. The red one has never even had a plug on the cable. It has line in too which is a bonus. The black Sanyo I just thought was kinda funky. Didn't pay much for either one :-)

Hope you like them :-)

And because the red one was still in its wrapping it's not even got a speck of dust on...it's as close to properly new as I've seen :-)

wow what an awesome find Simon.

Now you know if you find any boxed Hitachi 3d's, any condition as long as with original box, then I will re home them for you :-)

A couple of years ago I found someone with a boxed NEC boomer and when I went to pick it up he ended up having a boxed Philips Turbo bass thing AW7694, an unused Sharp WQT-352 and an old GF-555. The NEC was the nice one but the Philips and the Sharp were in timewarp condition so took them as well.

The Philips is pretty hateful but could be someone's personal Grail.

You lucked out with the Sanyo's Simon. Really like them.
