Hey guys!!!it was so long time since my last post here on this forum (anyway I check it daily!!). I'm very glad to share my happyness with you, because it's my first time I own a couple of the same boombox..and it's not a usual boombox (at leats here in italy!).
But here is my story: as usual everyday I check all the famous site here in my country where people sell things and when I saw it at 150€ I thought: damn, I already have one and I paid it much more (I bought it for a right price from bredgeo here on this fantastic forum). But my brain was talking to me: "come on, buy it, you know it's a special box.." So i mailed to the seller offering 60 € (less than the half price) sure that he wouldn't had received so many offers (boombox collecting is not so widespread here in italy and anyway it was 10 of august!). He refused my offer.. I waited for another week and sent him another mail offering 80 € and..HE ACCEPTED! I mean..I think that it's a very right price for a box like this!! He also offered to do half the price of shipment (that's strange!!) and I answered OOOK, for sure!! So for less than 100, now I have a new electronic daughter!And here it is, next to bredgeo almost perfect condition JVC M70!
I have just unplugged the grills in order to give a clean (a lot of dust on the speakers!!) and then I will clean very well chrome parts! The good: it works, except for tape section.. The bad: it has a scratch on the front metal part and on the tape, but nothing else on estetic conditions! It is missing 2 sliders (rec volume) but they can be easily found out!
So what to do on her?!keep her, give her a repair and paint in white with blue grills?!or sold it?!Suggestions?!?!?
