The most important thing to learn when starting a boombox collection is having patience. Some of us have it; some of us don't. I would imagine it hasn't sold because the BIN price is too high for that unit even with the extras.

... at least in my opinion.

I'd be worried about shipping from Alaska too. Black boomboxes are even more brittle than silver ones, and if it's not packed correctly, you are just asking for heartache. :-/

I think price is fair but with holidays around corner unless your buying for present, people just can't afford that much

For an unused in box 935, that price is OK, maybe a little on the high side. But not bad.

Again, shipping is an issue for this big blasters. It does have the factory Styrofoam, so that should help. But the power supplies are known to break off during shipment and total the inside of the radio as it bangs around. Remember, back in the day, these shipped in bulk on a pallet, with 20 or 30 in a block, not being tossed around by a postman who doesn't give a shiat

Nice radio for sure....the 935 is still my favorite of the three big Lasonic's

:agree:

If i didn't have a few of these i would buy it if i could pick it up...because shipping these is a nightmare...especially if you live in the bitter cold where boxes become far more brittle...it is a GREAT box for sure tho

Yes transformer definitely needs to be removed and bubble wrapped separately. That's the only way to ship any huge black box  unfortunately most people have no idea how so you end up with a broken box

yes, definitely don't want to receive a plastic box with broken parts inside and it would be coming from Alaska of all places :-/

Yeah, that would suck especially for that money :-/

Sure is a nice one, if I had the money, I would have my daughter buy it and pick it up, since she is in Alaska and will be visiting next month.
