You know, a lot of people don't pay attention to those Philps/Magnavoxes with the "Turbo-Bass" feature. (The first series, not the surround sound ones.) I first heard one when I was in basic training. One of my Drill Sergeants (Wallace) had one. He would play it on the Sundays he had duty. That bastard (the box...and matter of fact, Drill Sergeant Wallace) thumped hard. I have one with the strap and all too.

nice stack, I like the lasonic and zenith the best, but as OS69 says them Magnavox boxes thump hard. I had the Philips brand version in 90 and took it everywhere, my 1st box as a kid.

That Lasonic looks like it might be an AKA for one of the Sanyo PC systems, at the very least they've been looking at the Sanyo's speakers when they designed that box.
That's a compliment by the way.
