How does the sound quality compare between the WX-1 and the Mackenzie variant? There are two in Japan ending soon... I'm listening... :-)

my mackenzie sounds absolutely TREMENDOUS --with thundering bass -

never heard it next to a regular wx-1

they might be the same-- ?? not sure

I'm pretty sure they are the same - I never heard the MacKenzie though.But my WX-1 sounds tremendous for sure :yes:

My girlfriend painted me this Toshiba/Mackenzie in water-colour for my birthday :-)
It looks like it sounds as 'sweet vinagared ginger'! :smooch: :blush:

Back to nice Toshibas - I really think I'm coming around to this brand being my favourite - I was once a Sharp boy and Sanyo soon outdid them in my eyes with style and quality... after all they issued the 20 series, all of them fine :drool: you know once I picked up a nice M-X920 at a market and the guy said "it's only a Sanyo, can't be quality" based on current Sanyo quality... So strange. But I'm happy ... :-D
Anyway what's the deal on the RT-S85? I've been able to find only one image on stereo80s. Does anyone here have one?

Looks like its the same box as the Bombeat 16, with differing style and it presents a bit lighter and cleaner. Is it a lower or higher model?

yea i m looking this beauty for a while too. The hoarder in me is saying - "bid on her" :lol: . But i will not ... for now :lol:
And there is something really interesting for me - on the bottom right corner of the carton box is written "black" . That mean that there are other colors ??? :hmmm: :w00t:
