hi fellas,so i have this toshiba that i recieved this week from ebay.first of all a question.....does anyone out there know if this unit came with two different lengths of speaker cable when new?the reason i ask is mine came with two speaker cables that are more akin to a 3 piece unit, but are obviously made for this unit as the wires have propper fitted rca jacks at each end-but on others ive seen most have dumpy little connectors for them.....could the fact that you can totally break this down be the result why i have two long wires, and the original small set were lost originally?also, what are your opinions on this model?i think the sound that those tiny little speakers kick out is superb, plenty of bass response that i like, and they can go very loud.it pulls in stations i never thought i could get!i had one years ago that was dead from the ground up,so to have this one is fantastic-and it was cheap too!are they rare as there isnt much on here about them?

these might have came with 2 sets of cables for connecting the speakers , a short pair for when the unit is together and a long pair for when the speakers are detached .. or they just replaced the short pair at some point , but looking at it it , it has a short pair of rca type cables so they don't dangle down and get in the way and they are just long enough to go from the main unit to the speakers .

this is not my pic.

cheers for the info  those short leeds are the exact eqivalent of mine but are short rather than my dangly long ones lol-mine do look like stock cables so the idea of two different lengths supplied from the factory definately looks to ring true ;-)
