Toshiba BomBeat WX-1 aka RT-S983

Hi, this is the newest entry to my collection A Toshiba RT-S983 ! Only tapedeck A doesn`t play. The belts are broken and the motor becomes no voltage from the pcb platine. It´s work for the winter days.
This gear looks fine, near mint And the sound is great. Better as a Sharp trible seven

Mine dial light was also defective. It is an easy lamp (with green filter) for a little money in the electronics shops. This exchange, however, is not so easy.

Indeed - the wx-1 is one of the best sounding boomers ( i dont give a F about all this crap about "one piecer" ot two or more , all are boomers and all count and fight , nobody separated the rally cars back than for example on front, rear or 4x4 drive, same here) .
So - congrats dude. You got one of the nicest examples around ( collector here in Bulgaria have 2 still NIB , must try to snitch one ).
I use to have 4 WXs . And loved them all. This is the most sophisticated boomer in the world for those years.

Yeah those VU's are killer......the light actually goes into the needle.......More boomers should have done it that way.
