thats a bad ass trio of boxes i'm sure jvc took into account that the other manufacturers might not be playing around when it comes to boom box design and sound so they made sure the m90 was ready for the battle ,those two toshibas are just wicked makes me think jvc could have taken the m90 next level and added a few more details or enhancements to make it a little more sophisticated.

:agree: Lights for the M90 tuning dial and VU meters would've been cool. And - not that it needs it too much - a "stereo wide" mode would've been cool also. :yes:

Did Kittmaster ever have a M90 LED modification kit for the tuning dial and VU meters?

Speaking of mods, one thing I wish that most boomboxes had was LED illumination right where that orange sticker is. :cool:

kitt did make some good set-ups for the big conions and for the 20/20
but he never could get a dial lamp to fit into the m90 :sadno:

and the m90 NEEDS it BADLY --!!!

however --ohboy said there IS enough room to on both SIDES of the m90
dial --to place little leds there --

so --i hope somebody here --does this --
and posts up a report :-)

Congrats redbenjoe :thumbsup: i Can tell you for a FACT why and the main reason the m90 sounds better warmer than the tosh 40 and s90

It is BECAUSE the m90 has a VENTED back case unlike the other 2 remember the HOLES i made in my fisher 480 speaker back case HELLA improvment :-)

yeah man i had so many boxes i just had to put some of em in storage ,i lose track of what i have that way :lol: plus my attic looks like the burmuda triangle of boombox wrecks waiting for customization plus i got another jvc pcx 100 for 5 bucks today i'm not a big fan of cd boxes but i could not pass it up for that cheap plus its in good condition .any new boxes for you lately? i'm so glad to see you posting :yes: .

thanks man. :cool: hey yunno...for $5? why pass it up? the pc-x100 is a nice 90s box. :yes: and i hear ya on the storage thing so no new additions for me. or should i say, "no new additions YET"...because i've said that before. :lol:

one thing is for sure i will never win any awards for photography all my boombox pics are blurry like big foot sightings :lol: :lol: .

did you remove the battery cover?Also are you sure all of the backplate screws are there?Its hard to believe such a well built box would rattle like that.

jup jovie -- :-)
first i removed it --and most of the rattle was mostly gone :-D
than i taped it --so its a semi-solid box now
