Guys & Gals...

Let's be in prayer for those in Texas and Oklahoma... -_-

Moore, OK has been flattened twice within 14 years...

I have witnessed too much of this over my lifetime. I was a kid when our house was mutilated on April 10, 1979 dubbed "Terrible Tuesday". (You can look it up.)

I was witness to all kinds of devastation growing up as an Oklahoma native...born in Lawton...

I have seen what F4's and F5's did to Lawton OK, Oak Grove AL, Pratt City AL, Tuscaloosa AL, Pleasant Grove AL, Huntsville AL and on...and the F3 that hit Clay where I live now (barely a year ago) can do up front and close. I have huddled with my family as a kid terrified, and now having to assure my family as a dad, in a basement.

I have rescued people from their houses and know people that died. Though you want no one to die, children passing away is a special kind of hurt...

It gets old...but it is "Mother Nature", and God has a purpose in it all. Life will move on and eventually it will be a footnote in history for us...but let's pray it can be the same for those who survived.

God bless the heroes who are rescuing people and working towards recovery.

Amen to that, the thoughts of those of us here in the UK are with all of those whose lives are irreversibly changed for the worse by this terrible event. Naturally, it has made the news on our media too and it would take a totally unfeeling person not to be saddened by loss on such a scale, whether it's a few thousand miles away or five minutes down the road.

Its crazy. Every year they have to worry about Tornadoes.
Here in Toronto Canada, we get some every now and then, but they arent that powerful.
