43.60 with tax. there are some cosmetic scratches on the front in various places but the belt seems tight, battery compartment is clean, and pots are all static free, as are switches.

Good find and decent price but too bad West Coast thrifts charge us like they think we all live in Beverly Hills, or that their thrift store is a Nordstrom alternative. Over in Freddy's neck of the woods, that's probably a $5 or $10 thrift sale although admittedly, classic era boxes are not easy to find in any thrift.

Yay! Congratulations. It looks complete too. I like the CFS 500 models. They're good sounding, easy on the batteries, and easy to take along anywhere.

True stuff. I prefer to use mine when casual walking is in order. Not too heavy to tire the arm fast, excellent battery life for the decibels, and screams 80's with the lines and colours.

Nice find buddy!

I'm envious. I'll bet Port Townshend thrifts are fun. The time I was up there I had a blast.

You would be suprised, Norm, at this town. It's a little Boomer Yuppyville port town with lots of antique stores and thrifts. I've hit up there before once, but with no luck.

Congrats on a great find in the wild!   :breakdance:
