Hey bros got this Panny for free!!! Kinda figures huh? But hey, I'm up to the challenge of restoring it

Surprisingly enough:
- Tape Deck 1 works! (doesn't record from the radio, still have to try recording from Deck 2)
- Radio Works!
- EQ Works!
- Right speaker is practically non-existant... :'-( Can you see...is that a cockroach hangin' from the inside?

- Deck numero 2... no ejecto... :'-(
- When tilted, inside it sounds exactly like one of those "rain-sticks" must be packed with eggs!

Any suggestions on who could have the speakers/belts for this model?

That's a heck of a challenge, I think you'll need a little help on this one.

Don't know who could help right now but every once in a while I run across panasonics like that, I'll pick one up for parts if I find one cheap enough.

Wow, that Quasar is like EXACTLY the same as my Thrashasonic!!!

Is your all working? How is the sound? Mine has only sound through the left speaker, and it's kinda low on volume. I'll have to open it up and see what's up...

You may be better off just buying TRC's Quasar! But hey, the price for the Thrasasonic was right.

Mine is a project, the tapes were working but one day I hit the play button and I never hit stop So I think both decks need work-BUT I could be wrong-I haven't touched it in 8 months The speakers are awesome and all the trim pieces are there and for the most part great! The grilles have dents and one tweeter chrome trim needs reglued but now it has a cool hinge with Scotch Tape Lift it up and expect it to shoot missles Line in works, but when tapes are played it only comes from one side
