This Year's Attempt..

Last year I did a 'whole collection in one shot' shoot for my radios, it worked out quite well and I thought I should do this every year.

With my collection growing quite a bit in the last 16 months or so, the location became problematic as there was little chance of taking another shot in my living.
During our house renovations a deck was put in out the front of the house and this worked out to provide a suitable space for my beloved blasters. Unfortunately there still wasn't enough room to get them all in. I think I'm about 15 or so short in the photos, 5 are at my repairers (STILL) and the other 10 I just really didn't have room for. This was a monstrous effort, carting them all through the house and then setting em up (and then bringing them back in!!) but I think it was well worth it! Mad props to my mate Royston who helped out a lot and is in one of the later photos.

A word of warning to anyone wanting to do a 'whole collection in one shot' photo: do it when you've got less than 50. Otherwise get lots of friends to help!!

Phenominal collection Rick How long did it take to set them all up for the pose??? Oh, and did any of them give you trouble As I sat here looking at your awsome pics , My GF said I hope you dont let your collection get that big ( and push us out of our bedroom )

Ahaha, Bill! Classic.

It took about 2 hours to set em all up. Then half hour of shooting. About 45 minutes to set em all back up as I had a couple of helpers.

My 7 year old was sat next to me as i was reading your post, when i scrolled down to the first pic all she could say was Wow, and i agree, although to fair i didnt expect anything less than Wow from you Glue, you truly raise the bar my friend.

Oh , my daughter also said does he have a Discolite so someone does actually listen to me at home

Also i didnt realise how big that gf-9000 actually is till seeing in a group shot, how does it compare with the gf-8989 at the front.

Group shots really are the best for seeing how some of these really big boxes stack up sizewise to what the common or "garden" boombox collecter like myself may have

Mine's technically the GF-535, .jp model of the 9000. The model's with black speakers sound a great deal better
than the white woofer ones, please have a look at my youtube videos and I did a video review of the GF-535, if you've not seen it
already and that sort of thing takes your fancy.

Great reveiw Glue, actually quite fancy a 9000/535 now. As i said, its not till you see group shots that you really appreciate the size of some these boxes, but that one of yours looks huge on your couch and sounds awesome
