Chris did you end up doing this? I'm wondering if this is a common issue as mine has 1 side out too. I bought the schematics from norm so I suppose it would be doable to test the amp at least.

I have not done the work. But I bought the chips. They are used chips. I might have spares if your interested

I got lucky with mine, it was in really good shape cosmetically, I just gave it a nice cleaning and it was good to go, good luck on your project bro :thumbsup:

That thing is soooo clean! Amazing. I've never seen this box before and generally like the silver/metal looking ones better, but of all the dark ones, this one is amazing!

I have a RC-838JW and would like to upgrade the speakers if possible.

Can anyone recommend any good replacement midrange and tweeter speakers that can currently be purchased? Any links would be very appreciated.
