So whilst in Melbourne I picked up 4 boxes, two Pioneer SK-550 (thanks Rick and Richard!), a Sharp GF-8989 and an Akai AJ-500FS. I sold the Akai to a chick whose VZ-2000 I repaired last night, she's stoked!, for the same price I picked it up for.
This morning I found enough bubble wrap at my mates place to wrap the best condition one of the three and placed the other two above and below it. I put my already-heavy overnight bag on my shoulder and proceeded to attempt to carry the three heavy boomboxes to the train station - a 20 minute walk from where I was staying.
I'm on the train now, a bit of sweat, some deep breathing and 10 or so breaks along the way!
My arms have never been closer to death.
I haven't eaten anything yet and am hung over :dunce: |-)
But my boxes are still gorgeous to me! I love you guys! :-D
I'd do anything for them!

:-D they're SO sore!! Once I'd dumped my carry-on Pioneers and bag in the station lockers I sported the sexy Sharp about town like a pro until I got to the post office and mailed her home... then spent the rest of te day feeling like I'd left something behind somewhere... and my coffee was so heavy at lunchtime!
