So whilst in Melbourne I picked up 4 boxes, two Pioneer SK-550 (thanks Rick and Richard!), a Sharp GF-8989 and an Akai AJ-500FS. I sold the Akai to a chick whose VZ-2000 I repaired last night, she's stoked!, for the same price I picked it up for.
This morning I found enough bubble wrap at my mates place to wrap the best condition one of the three and placed the other two above and below it. I put my already-heavy overnight bag on my shoulder and proceeded to attempt to carry the three heavy boomboxes to the train station - a 20 minute walk from where I was staying.
I'm on the train now, a bit of sweat, some deep breathing and 10 or so breaks along the way!
My arms have never been closer to death.
I haven't eaten anything yet and am hung over
|-)
But my boxes are still gorgeous to me! I love you guys!
I'd do anything for them!
