well yesterday i got a call from a dump 110km up the road . .she said on the phone yesterday it came out of a barn and its a crappy china thing i said what is it she said vela dk-3000 my jaw dropped i said put it aside for me and i will pick it up next week .lol this morrning i woke up and the sun was out so jumped on the motor bike i was off not letting that radio sit there till next week for some dum shiat to chuck out but they do have a wish list and put things aside but i wasnt risking it .so here she is the meger rear DK-3000 fully working belive it or not and cleaned up mint :-)

Cool box - I always thought of the big mono as a 70s sort of deal before the stereo units took off. A late 80s mono is surely a rare breed.

Nice work on the clean up!

Heh, at first I thought you were talking about the full-size Vela, and I was thinking how could you haul that home on a motorcycle without breaking it. :lol:
