Just had one today... An M70 that I bid on eBay before buying another on craigslist... one that I would be in big trouble if I ended up winning... I was the high bidder on it still, and suddenly... out of nowhere, the seller cancelled the listing!!! In one sense I was bummed of course, it was only at $99!!! But in the other, and mostly, very relieved... the box looked very beat up anyways, and I wouldn't have a clue what to say to my wife!!! So if one of you had made a side offer to this guy, and the reason he pulled it... THANK YOU!!!

I try not to linger on lost boombox opportunities. There are more out there with my name on them. I feel lucky to have what I have and even luckier to have met all you great guys in the process.

Sometimes the reason I think that I have been lucky, too, is that my collection is so small. I have overbid much more than I have underbid.
