That time of the year again

Well the Salmon are running (so to speak, they are clearly not actualy able to run ) as
they do every year around Easter time.

Couldnt work out what radio to take this year because of the salt air, it would destroy a good
boombox in a day. I didnt want to take an egg either not cool enough, then i remembered a 9696 i have had for
ages as a parts box and wondered if it would work on batteries..... yep

Missing both ariels, most switches, both grills, no handle, no battery cover, no tuner knob,
speakers are knackered......... and it worked perfectly for the trip

Wow looks you have perfect time over . Thats the way of Easter, not table full of food and crying kids. Lot better boomin 9696 , a few good friends and endless ocean. And some catch is just bonus .

Every year i look forward to the Salmon schools going past
Its nice to do a bit of 4x4 beach work, a bit of fishing and camping and just
enjoying ourselves.

Freddie, it is difficult to not keep fishing when the fishing is good but i only
catch what i need and i prefer to not freeze the fish.
We cooked 2 while we camped there and i cooked my last one on the bbq
when we got home
