Congrats!

No wonder I have 3 of them.
M70 is the overall winner based on size, sound quality, easy to work and build quality! No doubt about that.
Sometimes it is hard to put it back and get another box to listen.
Based on how good the control board is or the sliders are one can sound different from another one.
One of mine sounds AMAZING!

I've heard from members here that if the control board and sliders get serviced by Norm they sound AWESOME!

Congrats Bro, I bought mine solely based on everyone's recommendation and your right, "Holy Shiat".

A little heavy, but pound for pound these things deliver the goods!

Your's looks absolutely amazing.

Over the years, I have learned the region's that have been denied certain manufacturers or models. But it never dawned on me that the M70 wasn't a popular model EVERYWHERE.

Now all you need is a STRAP! :w00t:

and just in case you have a pair of high quality 10" stereo speakers handy -
hook then into the ' speaker out ' jacks -
and then you will hear what an awesome // clean power amp is in there

Congrats...an awesome box well worth waiting for. Not that common in the uk either tho I managed to bag two and they both sound great :-)

It's interesting about the sliders. I've got two that are in great condition but sound different. One has nice free moving sliders and the other has shocking movement.
Hall of fame boombox but the sliders are probably the only weak point.

Congrats on bagging one over there!

Congrats! I havent heard an M70 yet, but its the next one on my wish list. I bought my M90 without ever hearing one before and man I have NO REGRETS, I'm sure the M70 will not disappoint! :-)

Congrats!!! As everyone else says, these are great. I only have 6 boxes, but this is by far my loudest, and most clear sounding of them. I haven't had my sliders rebuilt yet, but will some day. I'd recommend one of the LED kits for it. SuperDuper makes a great, fairly easy to install kit.

Nice work Craig. Weird that they're not common in NZ.
You think yours is a locally sold one or hard to tell?
