Bummed out today my Sony MDR-V700 headphones didn't work anymore. So I bought the Technics RP-DH1200 headphones I did alot of investigating on these and it seems that there are alot of good opinions on it. Does anyone here owns one and how do they perform.

I loved the Sony in mixing they were great, but I've read from DJ's that the Sony have a tendacy of eventually breaking down my situation was the speakers got blown.

Another great headphone is the Allen & Heath XD-53 widely used buy top DJ's.

I hear ya Claret they must sound smooth as silk, but I have purchased the Technics.

Hi Juan!
I hope your Technics rock!
Truly I have never been a headphone fan as
I like my woofers blaring!! :-O
My brother had some Stanton's,they were blue and yes
they were from the late 70's! They sounded alright!
BUT I had some Realistics or maybe it was Technics
and I wasn't satisfied so I took the resistor
out of the plug!!! :w00t:  :-O :breakdance:
Wo Hoo!! The sound was kind of scary!!
Very loud and powerful but after my ears were
ringing I think I blew them up!
All I'n good fun when your 16!!
Have a great weekend!! :-)

Thanks Ghettoboom767 I use the headphones for DJing its a hobby of mine.

Mixing it up is my kind of thing. I used to use my Technics 1200 turntables for DJing but I find my Prodigy B-52 more satisfying.

Well the headphones arrived and it was not the model I order which was the Technics RP-DH1200 rather I received a different model the RP-DJ1200A.

After listening to the RP-DJ1200A I was amazed how good they sound they are not over the ear headphones but man do they kick.

I believe it gives the Sony MDR-V700 a run for its money.

I'm happy!! :-D
