Got a TEAC JC-37 stereo today from a lady who I met at my local thrift store (her name was Chris)-she kindly offered it to me for free and we had to pick it up from her house.

It's a nice stereo with the following features :
-cabinet is wooden and is well built
-a neat power level indicator display
-5 band graphic equalizer
-has both speaker and RCA jacks (so it can be turned into a sort of boombox)
-double cassette deck with high speed dubbing and swelectable tape type (Cr02/normal)
-AM/FM radio (although it didn't work)
-microphone input
-headphone jack
-balance and volume controls

5 band graphic equalizer has the following bands:
-100Hz
-330Hz
-1kHz
-3kHz
-10kHz

Sound quality is extremely nice-nice and loud.

It's hard to find info about this TEAC stereo (although there are multiple models in the "JC-" series).

I've never seen a TEAC one of these all in one consoles. I see a lot of Panasonic ones like this at the the thrift stores lately. I think I have one in the basement.

It's wood?, that is unique.
