I just bought one, tell me I did the right thing! Butter me up and tell me I will love it. Nice ebay special right now and there are only 4 left at a special price with shipping total is less than amazon!

You are gonna love it so much I predict you will sell both of your two speaker jobs and possibly never listen to another boombox
With the same level of respect again
THERE !
Buttery enough?

Oh that was good! Actually you got me on one part that we will be selling one of our 2 speaker boxes to help fund this new 3 speaker.

For the $289 shipped on ebay, it's still a lot but I can sell my $60 TDK 2 speaker for at least $150 (maybe $200) which makes the 3 speaker price about $139-$189 total which is manageable  .

Even for 289. It is well worth it!
You can't go wrong.
Big step up from the two speaker

^ I just finished watching your youtube vid again on the 3 speaker TDK. I can't wait to get it and compare and obviously see if I can make a strap for this heavy thing  :dunce: .

Joe, trust the 'dog. You will absolutely flip at the sound quality coming from the TDK 3. If it didn't weigh a metric ton, I would have absconded with Frank's last year. :-D

Played the new 3 speaker in a local HMV music selling shop

looked well made
looked well designed
weighs a ton
sound was good - but could'n turn it up too much for the other shoppers

my one gripe :hmmm: IT NEEDS SPEAKER COVERS
now if when you get it, you can make a set of grill cover to protect it - then it would look DA' BOMB - chrome or black would be cool

:hmmm: If it sounds that good it might be worth retrofitting the internals into a classic box... I just can't find anything that interests me with "new" boxes....
Already thought about it with a Kaboom, but I don't know if it sounds good because the way the speakers are set up..?

This thing is a beast Joe don't worry. If you "liked" the 2 then you'll love the 3!!! Mine is at my side of the bed for life. It does weigh a ton tho! (my only gripe) but the sound is deep loud and clear!!! When you make grills for it (don't forget the strap idea we talked about) I'll be first in line to buy a pair. Congrats on the purchase!!

Funny you should mention that boogie.
Mine is on the nightstand in my bed room 90 percent of the time!
It is the premier bedroom box , as well as the Telefunken m1.
Those 2 are the only ones "allowed" in there.
