Tape adjustment on Aiwa 955

Noticed that my new 995 tape is running fast..

Check it out and got a black sludge from the play spindle, but all functions are fine (except the tape counter, so I guess it might be that best).

Any ideas on adjusting the tape speed.

Yeah. This model uses an in-motor mounted SVR. It's accessed via hole in rear of motor.

Got in and got it working, but looks like someone had trouble before !!!.

Anyway, some flat head mini screwdriver action through the scary black hole later and ToTo no longer sounds like Chipmunks on speed.
