Got this today, its not the best sounding or best looking, but its fully working, in reasonable cosmetic condition, was about 1 mile from my house and cost £20. It would have been rude not to buy it :-)

Da Daa, a trusty GF-8989, a good solid work horse. And I even got a "Best of Diana Ross" tape thrown in, which was nice.

Always a great feeling finding one locally..
I've bought a couple not so desired boxes just because I found them in the wild..

A mile from your house?...now that's what I call LOCAL. They're nice mid sized boomers the 8989, and for £20 you can't go wrong! Congrats :-)

Thanks for all the replies fellas, it is a sweet box.
I gave it a good test drive while I was doing some stuff around the house yesterday, kinda wandering why I sold my old one
