Well today i went hunting for boxes at my swapmeet found some great General Electrics a 3-5259A (BlockBuster) and a mono 3-5244B i dont know if it just me but everyone on boomboxery has been getting lucky at swapmeets lately. :thumbsup:

Out of all the boxes that were ever made, the Conion C-100F should've had that name! :-/

I don't know about the sound - 'cause I've never heard it up close - but it damn sure has the size and the look! :cool:

Yes, has the best boombox look, but if I had to pick between the Blockbuster and the SCR-8.... it would be the SCR-8 hands down :yes: .

They have the same guts essentially, but the LED meters on the SCR-8 can't be beat.

Beg to differ :-P . I prefer the VU's, HOWEVER, doesn't the SCR-8 have strap loops? the blockbuster doesn't... :'-(

:agree: the meters are awsome :thumbsup: but the speakers and grills are nicer on the blockbuster :drool:
