so i was in the city on weekend. took a trip to the usual recycle shop to try my luck. not a bad day as it turns out.

first i spot the shiny little Sanyo M9924. crazy good condition, new looking, even with original sticker. works perfectly. the owner must have liked it a lot to still be in such great condition, strange they threw it away. i actually already had 1, but cant get FM on it and it has black grills. silver is cool.

then after looking at most other shelves i stumbled on the Sharp GF450. nice little double deck, all works good. gave it a bit of a clean/wash, shined up rather good minus the big scratches. and looks like it should have a Sharp badge on the front

$40 for both. boomboom!

Great scores, and so cheap! I can never find any classics here in my neck of the woods, people snatch em up so fast. Great day for you VP.

Fantastic!

The first picture is so striking. Those '80's Era' speakers are iconic, extreme to the point of being the coolest thing ever!
Each one of the two boxes in the first picture are real beauties in their own right but, when side by side, they're more than double the eye candy. I'm impressed.
