I'm currently on the hunt for a specific piece of a legendary rig. I am looking to buy just the detachable top tuner/cassette deck component from a Panasonic RX-C300 (or the Japanese market National RX-C300 version).
Specifically, I am looking for the module that houses the 4-band radio with the shortwave (SW) bands.
What I'm looking for:
The Component: Just the detachable top control deck. I do not need the main amplifier base unit or the speakers.
Condition: Cosmetically decent. Ideally with the shortwave tuner dial and switches intact. I'm open to units that need new cassette belts/gears, as long as the radio side of the unit is functional (or repairable).
Shipping: Willing to pay for shipping to South Carolina. Since it's just the top component and not the whole massive 30-pound setup, shipping should be pretty straightforward!
If you have a "parts unit" RX-C300 laying around, or if you're willing to part with just the top deck, please shoot me a PM with a couple of photos and what you’d want for it.
