So there is this song, which has a beat that does NOT distort at any volume on any boombox i have. So the result is a sound and a feeling that the beat will smash your speaker in half. here is the song on youtube

I would like to know if there is something special about the starting beat, that makes it undistortable? Does it use only a certain frequency or something? is it heavily edited maybe?

EDIT: Be careful, this thing will not show any sign of distortion so keep the volume at reasonable levels, so you dont risk blowing you speakers or something.

punchy indeed, It would sound great with any "mid rage" type book shelf sized speakers (also the same size of most boxes..)

However NOT my type of music though!

The production quality on that track is awesome! It's very clean and not overly compressed. Sounds like it was mastered on VERY good equipment by an engineer who understands dynamic range and headroom well. I would love to hear this played on proper "big room" system.

In plain words. They used really good gear and kept the levels well below the red.

Try some Inna's songs, they also have good punch without the excruciating (a new word there?) low ends. "Hot" and "Amazing" are good examples.
