Speaker replacement for Hitachi TRK9300H.

I am repairing this boombox I bought in 1983 and have questions. #1 The original speakers are 2.8 ohms and I am pretty sure I will never find replacements. Will a 4 ohm speaker be a suitable replacement? I am assuming these are full range speakers instead of a sub. Here are the numbers on the speakers. #2 Any idea who is the manufacturer is? My guess is Foster.

This never had a whole lot of bass and wonder what I can do to improve that.

I can send them off to have them re-foamed, but would like to upgrade them.

Any help would be great!

I used woofers from a scrapped Sanyo C7 in my 9300 & the difference was quite extraordinary! Lovely sounding machine now & pretty much mint condition!

They are a full range speaker and not a sub right? Are the a 4” speaker?

They are are a woofer & separate tweeter buddy!! I think I changed both over but I may have retained the tweeters & resoldered the wires to the new woofer or I may have changed both woofer & tweeter together - I really cannot remember, sorry about that! Woofer change alone will leave you happier - I believe it's a 2.5 ohm unit..............
