Wazup ?

Some summer-pics of my current collection all the way from Canterbury, UK.
Been growing since almost two years ago now, super-pleased with the results.

DSCF4246.JPG
Lasonic TRC-931 2nd edition: currently replacing the circuit board so not really booming atm. But he will, and it will be marvellous! The most attractive box I've got.

DSCF4717.JPG
Sharp VZ-2500H : in the process of restoring this one with new belts, antenna, sliders and some paint. Will probably sell it on afterwards.

DSCF4726.JPG
JVC RC-M70L: Has a minor hole and slightly uneven sound on right/left channels, but great otherwise. A street-box !

DSCF4735.JPG
JVC RC-M70LB: Smooth sliders, great condition and amazing sound.

DSCF5038.JPG
Cherry Coke: the rarest box in my collection and the only mini, this red Cherry Coke boombox sounds nice and looks brand new

DSCF5057.JPG
TEC 879 RR: This black plastic case with speakers is also a street-box with less-than-impressive sound and build quality, but it looks good !

DSCF8526.JPG
Watson RR 5600: This black beauty is in Sweden with me now and looks brand new. The sound is loud and overall fine.

IMG_6372.JPG
The Captain: This British bargain turned out great ! Rare, pristine condition and thumping sound all packed in one box !

SAM_0954.JPG
Crown CS-850L: This dependable, bass-heavy box was a real bargain and has been hanging on my shoulder many times since I got it. Looks kinda Hi-Fi and sounds great.

SAM_1916.JPG
Sharp GF-9000E: Has been on my wanting list for long and arrived not that long ago. Beat-up but fully working I will try to perform a miracle restoration on this one with new colour and LEDs..

SAM_1966.JPG
ICS-STR 5091: My biggest box with LOUD sound, great looks and overall good in-your-face-qualities only matched by the Lasonic and Watson.

In addition to this, another Sharp medium sized crappy box for extra parts, another 8.5/10 condition M70 and a Hitachi 3D MKII :-D .

You'd think I would be happy by now, but I'm still looking for :
GF-1000
Discolite
Sanyo MX-920
Sharp GF-9696
Lasonic 920
Toshiba Bombeat 16
Aiwa 770A (blue)
Sanyo MX-650
Sony CFS-99
Blaunkton TC 969

If u got any of 'em, I'm open for trades or cash.

I'm gonna have a hard time sticking to only 10 I think..
 :sadno:

That's it for now y'all

Peace

Really nice line up mate, lots of great boxes. My favourite amoung your stuff would be that 931, pretty rare over here.

That GF9000 looks really familiar, it looks like my old one. Did you get it of a S2G member?

Yeah the 931 was a pain to get here, broke in shipping hence why I'm fixing it..
No the GF-9000 I got from Germany for a good price :-) .

OH these radios look so good in the sunlight :fly-kite:
Just the way they are suppose to be.... :-D

You've been hard at work the last two years!

Northerner

Boomus Fidelis
Some very nice boxes there...I'm not sure which I like best...the M70s are, well, they're M70's, what's not to like! The 9000 is gorgeous. I do like the Cap10 tho :)

Good work :)

Thanks y'all !
Just scored a MASSIVE black box that I'll be picking up when I get back to the UK :w00t:, so excited !
So to make room I'm getting rid of three others, stick around for a for sale post in a few months.

Peace

It is, though it arrived busted and I had to have it serviced for weeks. I got it from Ebay Germany, my first box bought abroad :-)
The sound is loud and clear but not so bassy as one would wish for such a looker. I've seen several on Ebay Germany actually, but usually going for more than I bought mine. Also saw a black version once  ..

Peace
