On these speakers, the woofers are called SAT and not APM.
Sure, SAT was printed on the woofer, I could be wrong, but I believe these speakers are APM (woofer drivers), with SAT ("Super Acoustic Turbo") bass enhancement circuitry in the amp. There is also a litlle red "APM" symbol in the wording on the speaker.
SAT appeared in many Sony items, even their small "Fontopia"headphones. FH-215R had switchable SAT circuitry on the amp too.
Some FH boxes had "DOL" (Dynamic Optimum Loudness), ''AMFB" (Active Motion ? Feed Back)
I think the three way speakers in your first post had horn tweeters and mids, with APM woofers.
