Sony FH-313 cd player

Hi all,

I have a Sony FH-313 'boombox' and I am after a CD player to match it and I need model numbers (please)
I'm adding a PS-Q3 turn table and thought I might as well add a CD player.

What is the model that matches the 313 (not the MKII) I can't seem to find anything on google (other then the 7F)

Welcome aboard, Steve. :thumbsup: You might try looking for a Sony CDP-7F. They match most of the FH series.

Yeah the 7F are quite rare here in Australia so looks like I'll have to import one from the US then.

Awesome site, I thought I was the only crazy that loved the old retro gear lol

I only use the 313 for display now days, as I collect a lot of old retro 80's gear and I use the Sony Mini Muteki now in the game room (cool retro colour lights)

The sound is great with the SAT (Super Acoustic TURBO) Bass :-P it plays loud and sounds great. I've retired it as it now sits on display with my other retro gear.

I'll chase up a S39.

Shame, I did have one but I already gave it to a friend!

You should look for an older Sony FH with square APM speakers if you want something to display - square speakers are always a talking point. Won't sound as good though.

All good mate :-)

I had a stereo years ago with the square speakers, they looked awesome. I search ebay all the time for the old retro SOny gear (that sounded the best) I am after some SRS speakers too. Some on ebay UK but I bet they'll go for a bomb :-(
