Funny you should say that, I was just playing with my CK-11 today and realised that it had a button to select tape one or tape two, but only one deck.

Wow, that's pretty darn cool.

Do these come up for sale often?
You may see them about once a year. Usually in not so good condition, and likely overseas. There are those that come up though in a sweet state and if the timing is right... :-D

The speakers usually go and they aren't easy/cheap to repair. I've seen two in the year and a half I've been collecting. These ones:

The speakers on the CK-5 had been refoamed by member Wills15 but the acoustic damper on the side is damaged and needs replacing. So when I found the CK-11 I swapped the speakers over and it sounds amazing (they are the same ones in both photos). The ribbon tweeters are great, it's right up there with the big ben for best sounding hi-fi box and blows it away with loudness. I have an optional battery pack but it doesn't run the power amplifier so it's pretty much AC only. If I get around to fixing the CK-5 speakers then I think it would be good on batteries.

There is something real classy about that radio! Color combo, lots of buttons. Looks like you could launch a rocket from that control panel :-D

It looks like it could be a technical nightmare too if it's not all dialed in.
