Some of these newbies don't know the kind of fun we had in the 80's. There's no comparing with how todays youth are spending their free time sitting on a sofa with their xbox getting nice and fat.

Joe-I have nothing against you! It's just that you kind of get sidetracked
and kind of give people a 'hard time' a times.

I try to get along with everyone here,so I'm sorry if you don't like me
or?

I was just reminding you guys how old you are.

Don't assume I don't like you, why wouldn't I? You must have me confused with someone else.

Now, get back on topic!

I loved 1987 just as much as you guys. That was the first year I ate crunchy dog food, and my mom was driving around this Cutlass with me and my sister:

Then a few years later, it ended up like this :'-( :

Yep, the 80's were awesome.

I would like to recommend a book for those that grew up in the 80's and like SciFi. The book is titled 'Ready Player One'. SOOOO Much good nostalgia in this book and quite an easy quick read. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ready_Player_One

Oh well, back to today's reality -> work. ugh.

Great thread and great reading all the storys.

When 1980 rolled around i was only 7 and at the end, 1989, was when i left school.
Still got loads of great memorys of the whole decade. When you really think about it 1980 and 1989 seem an eternity apart in so many ways :hmmm:

Talking of 1987 thats when my car was built, Ford Escort XR3i 1987.
(and you guys thought partridge drove a Rover :-D )
