Something to keep my Philips D8614 company

Bagged me a Philips D8634 (D8614 Mark 2) for a respectable price from eBay . I already know these sound good but is there any difference sound wise between the mk1 and mk2?

Congrats you got that for a good price...pretty much the same beast as far as I know. We did a side by side comparison at the uk meet and I seem to remember them sounding the same

Thanks mate I thought they would, I really like the look of the mk2 doesn't look as cheap as the mk1

Champagne? Guess you're at a wedding then, bidding on eBay in the middle of the speeches wouldn't go down too well

Does anyone know if the grilles unclip or do they have to be removed by opening it up? Just curious, due for delivery for 29th April, HURRY UP MONDAY!!!

You'll have to open her up.
The grills have clips which are bent around & glued on the inside.
Nice catch & a nice price too - I bidded on that one myself.
I won one of those off the same seller last year, They are a nice sounding box
