Never saw him in person but as a kid, I used to ride past Joe Frazier's Gym almost everyday on the way to school (down in Society Hill), on the bus with my mom...

I'd always marvel at the limo sitting outside! Great childhood memories!

I was just reading about him the other day. The article told about his advanced liver cancer and the doctors didn't know how long he had to live. Wow. He is definitely one of the greats.

I remember seeing him fight Ali in the 70's, now those were some real fights.

I remember that too, with my dad and Uncles. I like how George Foreman said "Good night Joe. I love you." What a legend (and legndary left hook too).

I remember the night cosells voice distorted the mic as he knocked Ali out . We had this shitty black and white tv wi rabbit ears. Cable service was a new deal in the city. Most people had attennas in Vancouver back then.
