A friend of mine told me 2 years ago that he spotted this small boombox at the local post office.Since then every time I go there the owner of the box,the post office manager (50-60 year old lady) is always mad - yelling, arguing with somebody, not today though. ;-) I heard her laughing, talking about a birthday party, I said to myself ' Now or never ' .She was quite happy to get rid of it actualy,SCORE! :-P It's a CFS-71s.

Thick layer of dust on it,needs a bit of work but man that thing is loud almost as my CFS-85s.Big sound for its size and lots of aluminum.

71s is the coolest amongst my small boxes,i'm very pleased with my purchase.

Ivo,it's just my sd cassette hooked to my freshly upgraded fm transmitter.
Did the trick with the inductor bypass.Simple but the signal is much stronger now. It's job in progress.I'm going to put the transmitter and the antenna on a decorative tripod style stand. In future I want to build it in in a bbx,but I'll have to find a beater beyond saving first because I don't to ruin a good one.Maybe a dock for my phone + the fm transmitter. Its just a plan for the very distant future for now.
