skateboards & boxes

sort of go together -- right

except --in this hood there are no skateparks and no ramps -
its all crazy random street stuff ... ' gettin air' any way they can -

and the boards are all flying all over the sky -
landing SO close to my boxes

my own kid is the worst of them

anyhow --they always want to borrow some huge loud grail to skate
with --and nothing bad has ever happened yet -

but this is playing murphys law --way over the edge
RIGHT ???

but still -- hate the image of a board flying thru the grills :'-(

I was so ambicious in 1981 to get a ghettoblaster that I would go down to all the appliance stores, on a regular, to make my rounds of ghettoblaster eyecandy.
I could never afford it. So I complained to my parents and reminded them constantly that I want ....I NEEEEEED a ghettoblaster. It was like Ralphie and his bb gun dream in A Christmas story. Finally they hooked a sanyo up for christmas.

...Point is, if he's not ambicious about the boombox then maybe he doesn't need it. If he is tho' make him and his boys work for it. Hahaha, mow the lawn all summer, shovel snow, paint the house....hehe!

let them use a good loud grail --and get it off the
sidewalk --

tell them to pool their cash and buy one of those lasonic blasters.
for me those are just as perfect for skate boarding as they were back in the day.

the only way we could say they are less than a good mix --
is that 4 or 5 boards at once --rolling and jumping on concrete sidewalks--
make more noise that ANY of our biggies
