Silicone Sealant Plugging. Part 2

This is an update from an earlier thread dated 8th of April.
I decided to put silicone sealant on the outer edge of the makeshift Passive Radiator fitted it back in its hole and waited for it to dry then put the Aiwa CS-880 box back together, switched it on then turned up the volume and gradually added bass then the big test I then put on the DSL switch bwoooooooy!!! :-O :-O did I hear a difference in sound enhancement on the lower frequencies :w00t: :-D ,that middle Passive came alive such a difference. I'm so glad I made this choice of using silicone sealant to pad out the gaps around the Passive :thumbsup: .

Congratulations! And how about that sense of satisfaction hearing that BASS you're looking for. Happy for you Glen. :-)

Yeah its a great feeling indeed Aiwa really truly developed a sophisticated Unit back in the 80's, i wanna get another one and wire them up in series and run a sound system and have a party.. lol
Its funny at times u dont see any CS880's for sale but now there is 3 on ebay right now, 2 in the states and 1 in Germany. Life is Funny sometimes.

Yeah, but just think if i had waited i would have waited for 4mths. thats too long :no: :sadno: :nonono:
