Props goes out to Jimmy to spotting this vague (and by the truest sense of the word) gumtree listing and letting me go check it out as i was closer to it than him. And James then lets me keep it...i mean who does that?
I got this and a sketched out VZ (tuner issues, but good for parts at least) for 40 big ones.
The HK has a bit of the covering on top of the cabinet lifting up, but apart from that the thing is in pretty good shape and all there.

A lady of about 70 years had this since brand new or there abouts. What the!

I had an HK-9000 a long time ago, big beast with big sound if somewhat of a PA system tilt. Probably more to do with the stock speakers more than anything else. Heck of a find nonetheless and I'd grab another one in a heartbeat. Congrats!
