First, I want to thank Fatdog and the other members that keep this group together. The moderating is great not letting conflicts and arguing to spiral out of hand and turn into personal harassment in the open forum.

I am contimplating pulling my power coating services out of some other forums I am on because the mentallity of the members is way out of wack and personal attacks towards other members isn't something I want to be part of. Almost sad really.

8+ years being an active member and the place is really turning for the worst.... I might stop posting/contributing/selling/and offering services all together. Maybe just. sign in to see if anyone contacted me via PM or not. Honestly I don't care that much anymore now.....


What do I do? Frustrating, and I love how calm it is here. Evens me out when I feel stressed.

My guess is that Blu is also a member of some industry specific, or other forums interested in powder coating (maybe automotive or cycling?) and there have been the usual skirmishes and other blood pressure raising incidents that makes participation not very pleasant.

Um, long story really. Doesn't even involve any of my powder coating either. Just fed up as a whole to the lack of moderation before things spiral out of hand with "he said, she said" crap. The forum isn't about enthusiasm for the platform anymore, it's just constant bicker, throwing people under the bus, and nay-say. It is disgusting.

I've encountered situations like blu is describing on many PHP programming forums - a lot of guys suffering from "big ball syndrome." We are blessed to have fine members - the best I've ever encountered on the Interwebs..
